Hi everyone,

I can’t believe it’s been almost a week since I started to use all my Dermalogica samples. Click for the posts from Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 & Day 5 to see which products I’ve been using so far.

Today I started with a few we’ve seen before and a few new.
I woke up with my skin not feeling tight but I didn’t feel like it felt calm if that makes sense to you. I saw a few beginning spots on my chin and I kind of expected with the product I used last night.

I cleansed my skin with Dermalogica – Daily Microfolient.

This really feels nice today and it cleansed my skin very nicely and got it ready for the day and for that I used the RENU eyecream I’ve been using yesterday and I also used the same Dermalogica – Sheer Moisture (SPF 15) I’ve been using for the last few days.

This combination really gets me ready for the day now. I used a couple of makeup products today because I knew I would be filming an unboxing later on (upcoming post), and I wanted to test a product to remove makeup later on tonight. So I used a Sephora foundation primer and topped that with L’Oreal Paris – LumiMagique – Light Infusing Foundation in N3 Pure Linnen for flawless skin as if lit from within with liquid light technology. Under my eyes and around my nose (hello redness from blowing your nose all day) I used Maybelline – Instant Anti-Age – The Eraser Eye – Perfect & Cover Concealer in Fair. I also used Chanel Inimitable mascara and a little Smashbox O-gloss on my lips and filmed and got groceries and cooked and did an entire day of running around and at the end of the night I wanted to see how well everything had stayed on.
Makeup at the end of the day
Yes I wear glasses (esp. when I’m sick because I can’t stand contacts when I’m not feeling well), and you can see in this picture that well groomed brows really can make a face with glasses look pulled together even when you’re not wearing any eyeshadow.

But now back to the testing of the Dermalogica products.
It’s now night time and I used the Dermalogica – PreCleanse to take off my makeup.

I’ve had this before and I really loved it because it’s so easy and feels so nice at the end of the night to use an oil that you massage onto the skin and then with a little water it turns into a milk that removes all the dirt you massaged to the surface. This is recommended for all skin conditions.

After this you should actually cleanse again and I thought I’d give the Dermalogica – Dermal Clay Cleanser another chance because maybe you shouldn’t use this in a warm bathtub.

It really wasn’t fun using this again, I stopped after one cleanse and quickly picked out a mask I know and love to calm my skin.

I took up the Dermalogica – Multivitamin – Power Recovery Masque for this task.

I got this when I read (years ago) in Victoria Beckham’s book – That extra half an inch that she loved it and got it way back then, I still repurchase every time I empty a tube simply because it really does recover skin very well. So I knew this would calm my skin and thankfully it did.
This product is recommended for the smart management and treatment of skin aging. It’s a powerful masque of concentrated vitamins A,C,E and F to help the skin recover from damage that leads to skin aging whilst enhancing the barrier properties and promoting healthy tissue regeneration.
After 15 minutes my skin was calm and normal and I felt confident that the nightcare I used yesterday could be applied for the last use from the sample packet.

I used Dermalogica – mediBac – Overnight Clearing Gel as my nightcream and I hope that my skin feels perfectly nice when I wake up tomorrow.
